Equipping the church |
THE E2E COMMUNITY
|
E2E is a three-day missional training experience for local church groups. The vision of E2E is to provide an entry-level short-term mission experience for young adults, families and church groups with the goal of multiplying healthy disciples and raising up missional leaders. E2E's unique vision is to challenge, inspire and invite participants into an experiential learning weekend that will cultivate a heart for the least reached of our world, locally, nationally and globally and provide them with the tools that will help them make a difference.

I've been a Christian all of my life and this is the most practical training about sharing my faith that I have ever received!

Vision
God is on the move. There are people all across the globe where there is no Gospel witness; where conversion is illegal; where finding a Bible is next to impossible – and God in his sovereignty is bringing these people to our cities and neighborhoods and workplaces.
And the question is, are we ready?
Is the church ready?
E2E is our effort to prepare the church to be Christ's ambassadors to the nations. This weekend of equipping and outreach will give participants a clear understanding of God's vision to reach the nations and train them to make disciples who make disciples among the least reached.

He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
-- Luke 10:2
What's your place in God's global purpose?
We live in an increasingly globalized society where people from the least reached peoples of the earth are making North America their home. There are over 6,000 unreached people groups in our world still today. Of those, there are over 3,000 people groups that are yet to be engaged with any sort of strategic plan to bring the gospel to them.
Globalization therefore presents a unique opportunity for the North American church to be involved in God's plan to redeem all people to himself.

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
-- Acts 17:26-27
At E2E, we will confront our fears of other cultures.
We will learn about other religious worldviews and understand how to share the gospel with followers of those worldviews.
We will be trained to enter new fields of lostness, to share the Gospel effectively and to begin to disciple new believers.
We will go out into the harvest, two by two, to proclaim the Kingdom and look for God-prepared people.
E2E is a journey into risk-taking obedience to Jesus.

The Great Commission is for every church in every culture in every generation. There are no exclusions. But . . . every church in every culture in every generation must determine the way in which they respond to this responsibility -- in a way that is appropriate to time and context."
