UPCOMING TRAININGS
E2E 3 DAY TRAINING
March 20-22 - 2020 Wichita, KS -- Friday 9 am - Sunday 3 pm Location: Wichita House of Prayer 1101 W 55th St. S, Wichita, KS 67217 |
As much as possible, E2E seeks to implement MAWL principles in all that we teach (Model, Assist, Watch, Launch).
Jesus told his disciples to "make" disciples. To do that, every disciple must be able to pass on what he or she is learning in ways that empower others to do the same. It is the difference between knowledge based discipleship and obedience based discipleship. Our desire with this training is that there would be a 1:1 ratio among what is understood and what is applied.
Our training also values discovery learning. The Bible is the final authority and is to be held above tradition and opinion. In all we do, we work to point participants to God's word allowing the Holy Spirit to help them discover the truth and how that truth should be applied in their lives.

The American church has for too long confused having knowledge and information about Christian topics with being a disciple. "Knowing about” is not the same as doing and being! A true disciple takes that knowledge and in loving obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ, makes true disciples who take the Gospel to others and teaches them to do the same. E2E shares pertinent knowledge with participants, but doesn’t just stop there. E2E models doing and then takes the participants out to do themselves, following the pattern of learn, do, teach!
I highly encourage you to invite E2E to help you train Christians for true discipleship."

Session Summaries
Session 1: The Father's Heart and the Brutal Facts of Lostness
From Genesis to the prophets, from Jesus to the early church and all the way until today, God's story has been one of a rescue mission to reconcile all people to himself and see His name worshiped by all peoples in all places. And into this narrative, God is inviting his church, everyone who follows Jesus, to play a part. Whether that takes us across the globe or we stay home, the primary issue is discovering our unique role in helping fulfill the Great Commission. Surrendering our own desires and exploring what our unique role might be will be the focus of this session.
Session 2: Gospel Conversation Training
A recent study found that over 90% of Christians in America do not obey Jesus' command to make disciples. We will engage in simple, reproducible training that equips believers to begin having more gospel conversations by answering two questions: Who do we share with and what do we say.
This training was patterned after Ying Kai & Steve Smith's (T4T) "Why, Whom, How" training. "When" was added to include controllable goals. The goal is to provide a reproducible training for believers to equip others with.
Session 3: The Person of Peace
In this session we'll discover Jesus' strategy of reaching new regions through the God prepared, person of peace. This session will set the stage for our time in the harvest.
Session 4: Three Thirds Disciple Making Process
The Three thirds disciple Making process is a simple tool that allows any follower of Jesus to continue the disciple making process after we've had our first gospel conversations. Whether they said yes to Jesus or are just interested in learning more, this process will allow you to dive into the word of God with those wanting to learn more.
Session 5: Becoming a Cross Cultural Ambassador
As Christ calls us to be His ambassador working to reconcile people to God, we will sooner or later find ourselves crossing cultural barriers to share with and disciple people who are from different backgrounds, languages, and worldviews. To do so, Christ's followers need to be equipped with the missionary mindset and the understanding needed to clearly present the gospel to those not like us.
Session 6: Islam Through a Missional Lens
There is much we hear about Islam in the news but with this session we want to learn about Islam through a missional lens. We will explore the history and beliefs of Islam and through that discover bridges that will allow us to more effectively love and share the Gospel with Muslims who we meet. This session will provide a framework for digging in and understanding other religious worldviews.

“The Great Commission is for every church in every culture in every generation. There are no exclusions. But . . . every church in every culture in every generation must determine the way in which they respond to this responsibility -- in a way that is appropriate to time and context." -Doug Birdsall |
