Leader's Guide

WELCOME!
I'm glad you're here! You're about to lead an important conversation about following Jesus in a world shaped by technology. I created this study because I believe technology is not just a cultural issue, but a discipleship issue. My hope is that through these lessons, your group will learn to engage with technology in ways that honor God and help you grow as His followers.

You don’t need to be a tech expert or experienced teacher to lead. If you're committed to helping others grow in Christ with curiosity and humility, you're ready. I've also included a brief leader coaching video for each session to offer practical guidance and encouragement.
You’re not doing this alone—let’s lead well, together.

Here’s what you’ll find below for each session:
  • One-page session brief – A quick overview of the session content and goals
  • Short coaching video – I’ll walk you through the session’s focus and share tips for leading a meaningful group discussion
  • Teaching video – The main content for your group to watch and reflect on together

Hi, I’m Aaron Myers, and beside writing at the Everywhere to Everywhere blog, I serve as the Director of Digital Outreach with Crescent Project, a ministry focused on equipping Christians to share the hope of Jesus with Muslims. In that role, I encourage believers to go online to minister and reach out to the lost—using the digital tools of our day to fulfill the Great Commission.

But I’ll be honest: I’ve often wrestled with the tension of sending people into online spaces—places so often filled with distraction, division, and confusion. I’ve wanted to do my job well, to honor God in this digital calling, and to help others do the same. That’s led me to read, reflect, pray, and learn everything I can about how to live faithfully—even when surrounded by the noise and pull of technology.

This study is the fruit of that journey. It was born out of real conversations, personal wrestling, and a deep desire to help believers live as intentional disciples in a digital world. My prayer is that this journey sparks honest dialogue, deeper insight, and a greater love for Christ as we learn to follow Him—even with a phone in our pocket.
